Stay informed about the latest platform features and updates in v4.39.

Updated over a week ago

A couple of new features and improvements are now available in the Nexd Campaign Manager. The highlights from this release:

  • We overhauled the preview site and it runs on modern technology which will show your creatives faster and more smoothly.

Pro tip: Did you know that all πŸ„΄πŸ„½πŸ…ƒπŸ„΄πŸ…πŸ„ΏπŸ…πŸ„ΈπŸ…‚πŸ„΄ πŸ„ΏπŸ„»πŸ„°πŸ„½ users can get a white label (whitelabel) preview site that:

  • has the company branding colors

  • shows the company logo in the header and also inside the QR code

  • can be accessed within a custom domain, eg creatives.mycompany.com

  • does not have any link to Nexd

It's a great way to showcase the creatives in a familiar setting for your clients. Contact us to set it up or upgrade your plan.

  • We analyzed your most used infeed placement sizes and made them available to be selected when building an infeed creative. We have also added a human-readable name for each size and a small icon to reflect the creative aspect ratio (whether it's square, horizontal, vertical, or whatnot):

In addition to the above selection, you can also enter your own size. When entering your own width and height, then use an "x" or " " (space) between them. We will remember your custom size and next time you can select it from the dropdown.

  • You can filter campaigns by keyword. This is especially useful when you want to organize your campaigns between different accounts, clients, contacts, brands, seasons, verticals, accounting quarters, etc. Your first view, the campaign list, will show a "Keyword" filter in the header. When you click on it, all the keywords are shown that you have used in the campaigns. The number after the keyword shows you the campaign count with that specific keyword.

When you have a lot of keywords, use search in the filter above to find the one you are looking for. When you are done selecting the keywords then click "Apply Filters" and the campaign list will be updated. Please notice that we will show you keywords from all the campaigns regardless of status, so there may be campaigns that you have archived, so use the Status filter to show also these:

When you have used a filter then your sorting and filter options are shown in the header. You can also remove any keyword that you have added and the campaign list will be updated. There is also the option to "Clear all" filters

All the keywords that are used in the campaign are shown on the campaign card:

To add a keyword to a campaign, open the campaign card and start typing in the keywords input field. For each keyword, you can remove them or use as a filter. Just click on the keyword and select your action:

  • We started to make our system smarter so it remembers some of your previous selections. So now, when you have entered a custom size then you can use pick it next time you create a creative. We will also remember your last selected platform and when you add a new creative that platform is automatically selected.

  • To clear some confusion with video end cards, we added a notification to the asset. So, the logic goes like this:

    • When you do not have any video assets, you will not see a video end card slot.

    • When you have added any video asset and it is not looping, you can see the tooltip "This asset will be shown when the video ends".

    • When you have added any video asset(s) and only one or all of them are looping, you can see the tooltip "This asset will not be shown as all videos are looping. Edit the video asset settings above, if needed."

  • When selecting the background color fill for the asset you can use a color picker (eyedropper). This way you can select any color you see on your screen (not only on the platform but also on the design file that is opened on your extended display).

  • When inserting pixel URLs, you can paste also image and script tags and we will try to find all URLs in there and add them as separate pixel URLs. Here's an example of what we can understand as pixel URL:

    <SCRIPT language="JavaScript1.1" SRC="https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/trackimpj/smth"></SCRIPT>

This will be translated to a pixel URL of:

    https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/trackimpj/smth

In technical terms, we will search for all href and src parameters and see whether these have any URLs or not. All your macros will work as before, just be sure to select the correct platform for the creative. Please note that we do not search for URLs in <NOSCRIPT> tags as this may create double reporting.

  • In the campaign analytics page "Compare Results" graph, you can select devices to see the performance lines for one or multiple devices:

  • Platform selection is now moved into the Export settings section, so that the view can be more easily understood.

  • The effects and widgets panel is redesigned so that you can more easily turn them on and see the settings for each one.

  • The preview modal inside Campaign Manager has been removed. The quick preview when editing the creative shows the creative with every change. You can see the creative in full form on the updated preview site.

  • We streamlined the export flow so that after each export or updating live creative you will end up in a familiar modal where you can see, copy and download the tag or ZIP. You can also download a spreadsheet for each platform as described in the export article.

Thanks for being updated on the latest changes in our platform, and we wish you a fruitful day πŸ§„
