The Template Library lets you start from a complete creative instead of a blank layout. Choose a template, replace the assets with your own, customise anything you like, and export. You can also save your own creatives as templates to reuse or share with your team.
What are templates?
Templates are fully configured creatives built on existing layouts. Each template includes a complete combination of layout, assets, animations, interactions and feature settings, so you don't have to build everything from scratch.
Every template is fully editable. Replace the assets with your own, adjust anything you like, and export it as your own creative.
The Template Library contains two types of templates:
Ready-Made Templates – A curated collection of premade creatives demonstrating different layouts, features and use cases.
My Templates – Templates created and saved by you or your team from your own creatives.
Why use the Template Library?
The Template Library helps you create campaigns faster while discovering what's possible with the platform.
Start from a complete creative instead of configuring layouts, animations and features yourself.
Learn by example with ready-made templates showcasing hotspots, countdowns, games, animations and other interactive features.
Replace the assets, not the design. Your images and videos are automatically placed in the correct positions, preserving the template's composition while keeping your assets' original proportions.
Reuse successful creatives. Save your own campaigns as templates so proven formats become reusable starting points for you or your team.
Finding the Template Library
Create a new creative in your campaign and select your ad type and size as usual.
Open the layout picker by clicking Choose layout.
Switch to the Template library tab, next to the Layout gallery.
The templates shown are automatically matched to your selected ad type, so everything you see is relevant to the creative you're building.
Each template card shows a preview image, the template name, the size, and the layout it's built on. You can search templates by name and preview any template on both mobile and desktop before deciding.
Using a template
Select a template to see the preview.
Click Use Template.
The creative editor opens with everything from the template already in place - layout, asset positions, animations and features.
Replace the template assets with your own. Your assets are automatically placed in the same positions and at the same sizes as in the template, so the composition stays intact. Your asset keeps its own proportions and won't be stretched.
Adjust anything you like, all assets and settings remain fully editable.
If the template size differs from your creative
If you select a template designed for a different size than your current creative, you'll see a confirmation dialog explaining the difference. Confirming updates your creative's size to match the template. If you'd rather keep your current size, click Cancel to return to the Template Library.
Saving your own templates
You can save any creative as a template to reuse later or share with your team.
Open the creative you want to save.
Save it as a template using either of these options:
Enter a template name.
Choose the template visibility:
Organisation – visible to everyone in your organisation.
Private – visible only to you.
Click Save.
The template size and layout tags are generated automatically and cannot be edited.
Your template appears in My Templates at the top of the Template Library. Templates saved as Private are marked accordingly, making them easy to identify.
Editing and deleting your templates
Open the three-dot menu on any of your templates in the library:
Edit - change the template's name or visibility. Tags are generated automatically and cannot be edited.
Delete - permanently remove the template. You'll be asked to confirm, as this cannot be undone and the template will no longer be available to any team members.
Editing or deleting a template never affects creatives that were already made from it.
Favouriting templates
Click the star icon on any premade template card to mark it as a favourite. Favourited templates always appear at the top of the premade templates list, so the ones you use most are always within easy reach. Favourites are personal to your account.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit everything in a template?
Yes. A template is just a starting point, once applied, you can change any asset, setting, animation or feature, exactly like any other creative.
Will my creative change if the template is updated or removed?
No. When you use a template, its configuration is copied into your creative. Any later changes to the template, including its removal from the library, have no effect on creatives you've already made.
Who can see the templates I save?
That's up to you. Templates saved with "Organisation" visibility are available to everyone in your organisation. Templates saved with "Only me" are visible only to you. You can change the visibility at any time by editing the template.
Can I edit a template someone else on my team saved?
Organisation templates are shared, so they can be managed by your team members as well. If a template shouldn't be changed, consider agreeing within your team on how shared templates are managed.
Why don't I see a template I saw earlier?
The library is automatically filtered to your selected ad type, so a template designed for fullscreen won't appear when you're building an infeed creative (and vice versa). Premade templates are also curated and updated over time, so they may occasionally be added or retired. If one of your team's templates is missing, a team member may have changed its visibility or deleted it.
