Nexd Product Updates - October 2019

Our product team has just wrapped up some practical updates. Here's everything you need to know.

Updated over a week ago

High Aspect Ratio Device Features

As we explained in the previous week’s newsletter, Nexd is adapting to the move towards bigger screens in the mobile market. We are introducing new features to Campaign Manager for fullscreen creatives as a response to this.

The effect of this is to enable the creation of interstitial mobile creatives in either fullscreen low or high aspect ratio placement size. In quick preview, the user can now flick a toggle switch to view creatives for either high- or low-aspect ratio devices.

Design Changes

  • When in list view on Campaign Manager, the user can now see summary statistics of the campaign in three numbers - total impressions, total engagement, and total CTR - when live. When the user hovers with the cursor over the stats, they can drill down into those numbers by ad category (mobile, desktop, and video). These statistics are also available in the view after clicking Manage Creatives.

  • The user can now see the ad category, layout, size, and type underneath the ad name in list view on Campaign Manager.

  • When a user creates an ad, it is now easier to edit it, in open creative view (where users can select ad type and layouts). The options have been moved to the left hand side of the screen, to make it easier to navigate. Users can now also add a creative from the library with one click.

Favicons

Our small icons (favicons), which you see in the corner of browser tabs to show what application is being run, have now changed. They now show letters to signify the product (for example ‘P’ for Preview, on Nexd Preview’s pink background colour).

In-App Notifications

We’ve made changes to Campaign Manager in-app notifications, to make it even clearer at all times what’s happening in the application.

The overall goal of these notifications is to create a better overview of what is happening to campaigns when using Campaign Manager. Here is a summary of what, specifically, we have introduced:

  • A notification to say that a campaign has been shared with the user

  • A notification to say the creative’s status has changed to ‘Finish’. This means that the campaign has dropped below a predetermined number of impressions over a certain period.

  • A notification to advise that the user’s credit card payment has failed.

The team will add further notifications through subsequent releases.

Thank you for your time!

Your NEXD team.
