Release notes - FIFA World Cup widget, new Story layout, filter & sort layouts - May 2026

This month’s updates introduce a new FIFA World Cup widget, improved layout discovery tools, and a new Story layout.

FIFA World Cup Widget

Bring live tournament energy directly into your creatives with the new FIFA World Cup widget.

The widget lets you display live match scores, upcoming fixtures, and tournament updates automatically inside your ads. Once enabled, it updates throughout the tournament without requiring manual creative changes after launch.

You can follow:

  • A specific national team

  • A tournament group

  • Knockout stages such as Quarter-finals or Final

The widget automatically switches between:

  • Live scores

  • Upcoming matches

  • A custom fallback message

It also includes full styling controls in the Asset Editor, allowing you to adjust positioning, colours, typography, opacity, and more.

New Story Layout

Meet the new Story layout, a tap-through ad experience inspired by familiar social story formats.

Build sequential image and video experiences with segmented progress bars, tap navigation, autoplay videos, hold-to-pause interactions and looping behaviour.

The layout supports:

  • Up to 10 image, video, or mixed assets

  • Infeed, Interstitial, and Interscroller placements

  • Per-slide overlays, hotspots, and widgets

  • Progress bar customisation (color, opacity)

  • Gesture indicators and optional navigation controls

Enough talking. Go explore the new layout and try it yourself to get the full experience!

Filter & Sort Layouts

Finding the right layout is now faster with new filtering and sorting tools in the layout picker. You can now filter layouts by:

  • Campaign goal

  • Interaction type

  • Asset count

When filtered, layouts can also be sorted alphabetically, by popularity, highest engagement, or highest CTR.
